So you want to learn about wine. Herein are not the whole of the wine grape varieties used in winemaking today, but are the major players, the “handful” of wines I think are essential to having a basic wine knowledge. I wanted to take a minute to make a wine grape table of contents of sorts, so that you can find the wine variety of your choice much easier.
